2. Walking advertisement…Now with the walking advertisement, I was actually surprise by this when I was told about this advertisement by a friend of mine. It mainly surprise me to see that it actually work. I remember going to the grocery store waiting in line to ring up my food, and had someone behind me reading my shirt. And asked me to see if it’s actually a real site and business or just a design for the shirt. And of course I told him it’s a real business and site. And that’s where the conversion begin and I started telling him about my business and how it works, and gave him a business card. Which I asked him to go check out my website and if he had anymore questions he can contact me. That’s it, pretty simple and easy to do but works. After a while it became one of my favorite shirt. Because It was like someone was paying me just to wear it. And it is, because I was getting traffic and recruits into my business just for wearing it. I mean I’m sure you notice how every time someone has a shirt on with some writing on it, you tend to look at it and read it. That’s the same thing that would happen, people would read your shirt just out of curiosity. The shirt only cost $20.

That’s all I did with the walking advertisement, and it worked pretty well for me. Got people to notice my business and asked me how it works and call me.

3. WORD OF MOUTH…Now my last method and I believe which is also my most effective method of all. It’s free but really effective, word of mouth advertising. Now I don’t want you to get the wrong idea, that I go out there and talk to hundreds or even 20 - 50 people a day. Because I don’t, I only talk to people whenever I’m waiting in line at the store, pumping gas to my car, waiting for my food at the restaurant. I’ll said the average amount of people I talk to a day is about 1 - 10 people only. Depending on what I’m doing that day, you see the more I go out and the more people I see. Then the more people I talk to, for example if I’m only going to the gas station that day, then I would only talk to about 1 - 4 people that day. If I’m going out shopping for food and going to the restaurant, running to rent some movies then I would average about 1 - 10 people that day. So it all really comes down to how much of my time am I out running errands or out doing stuff. Some day if I’m lazy and don’t feel like talking to people then of course it would be 0 people that day. But the average amount of people I would talk to a week is about 5 - 15 people a week, so that’s about 1 - 4 people a day 6 days a week average. It’s not that much work or hard to do. Remember this is your business now and no one is going to grow it for you except yourself, so it would require some of your time and effort to grow it just like any other business out there.
This is exactly what I would usually said to people I meet:
Hi, so how’s it going today -response, “I‘m doing good, great, nice, not bad”- that’s good, umm you mind if I ask you a quick question -response, “umm sure, go ahead, ok, yea, what is it”- ok well I’m actually with this program that help save it’s member 25% on anything you pay for, just for being a member. I know most of you are probably thinking hmmm… That’s it, I already know how to do that or what I thought you were going to show me something cool, something that I have never seem before, some kind of magic. And help them achieve what they want, by doing this they are also going to help you get to where you want to be at. As I have mention earlier in this article I have been involve in so many business and worked with so many type of people. There are some really good team members and mentors, while there are also bad ones as well. Some who only care about their success and how much they make. They forgot that it’s their team members who’s going to help them build their business up as well as you helping them out. And this isn’t the type of people you want to be, I’m not saying you have to do everything for your team members. But if they truly wants to learn and need help starting out to succeed. Then help them, teach them what you know and what you do, so that they too can duplicate that success onto their team. Which will also make your team grow faster and bigger in just a short amount of time. Duplication is probably what makes a successful person successful, from a person who isn’t. Because they know the power of duplication and that’s what MLM and network marketing is all about. Teaching other’s what you know, so they can do the same.
For example, Isn’t it easier for you to sponsor 3-5 people and teach them to do the same. Instead of you going out there trying to sponsor hundreds of people by yourself. This is what’s going to make you a true leader in your field and someone, people would want to work with, because they know if they are with you. They will see success and follow you into any business you go into. And that’s the ultimate success!

Honestly GARBAGE, I’m not going to mention any names but I see so many business that are promoting products that no one would even bother to buy. While other’s have products that you don’t even have to try to sell it and people would buy it or join in your business because of what you have. Having a great product/service can also help determined your success. Of course don’t get me wrong there are also other things that can determine the success of a business, but having a good product/service can really give you a advantage as a newbie. Because who would want to join in a business promoting a product that no one wants. If you can’t make a sell or recruit someone into your business, then that means no INCOME being generated and you go broke or quit. And yes you probably see a lot of business out there that are promising your success and that there are NO SELLING, NO ADVERTISING or NO RECRUITING require to make money since it’s totally done and automated for you. Well that’s total BULLSHIT!!! And don’t let yourself be foolish enough to fall for it, because if you don’t make any sells then how are you and the company going to make money? The company sure ain’t going to give away free money to you just because you join in. And they sure ain’t going to do all the advertising and recruiting for you. Which means it’s really all up to you, and I don’t know about you but if I’m going to promote a product it better be something good that I would actually use myself. If not then I wouldn’t even bother joining the business. I rather not be in a business, then be in a business with a crappy product that no one wants. I was once told by a upline of mine that if you can’t even find 5 people that would want what you have, then what you have is something no one wants. So before you join in any business make sure what the company is promoting is something you can sell, or would buy.
Know the company’s compensation plan, before you consider even joining in a business. You MUST know what and how the COMPENSATION WORKS. Is it something for you, do you like the structure, amount paid and is it a residual income or not. I remember back in 2008 a guy was trying to sponsor me into his business, I’m not going to mention the name of the business he was in. But when I asked him how the compensation plan work he didn’t even have a clue. And when he did found out how it worked he quit. Because the company was only paying him a 1x commission fee on the customer he brings in. Don’t get me wrong the company did offer a really good service but there would no residual income building in the business. Meaning he always had to look for new customer to make money. And not trying to brag but YES that guy is actually in my team right now in my business. So look at the compensation plan is it something you like, how much will you make and how much residual income will you get every month from the business. If you are unsure of how it works contact the person who is showing you the site. And this also brings me to another subject. Before you join in any business make sure the person showing you the business or site is someone who is willing to help you. When I first started out I have to admit I was a total idiot, I opened up a google adword account and deposit $300 in it. I was thinking ok I got this duplicate site from my online business I was in, so I figure I will just advertise it. Thinking hmmm I’m probably going to get a couple recruits and make some sales easily like how online suppose to work. Well wrong move buddy not just did I not get a single sales or recruit, I lost $300 in 43minutes. I was mad and really angry because that was my whole pay check for that week that I just lost in 43 minutes. It was as if I just went to work that week for free. That got me thinking, man this online stuff is probably really is a scam like everyone said. Because I didn’t know in order for you to even bother advertising online, NEVER EVER use your company duplicated site given to you. You need to make your own page. A lead capture page that is, and a good one that will get the audience to opt-in your page. Other then that don’t even bother. But that taught me a really good lesson, about advertising online. So I called up my upline to ask him what should I do to advertise, guess what he said? Advertise on google so people will see your site and join you. I didn’t said it to him but I was thinking to myself HELL NO! And lose another $300 no way buddy. So I asked him other then online what should I do, he mention buying phone numbers and doing cold calling and he also mention think of all the people you know. And approach them with your opportunity, tell them what you do and how it’s going to benefit you. Of course I was new but the whole time when he said that to me. I was thinking HELL NO! What, tell them that I lost $300 in 43minutes so they can laugh at me and said I’m am idiot, I don’t think so. So couple month went by and I quit. And later I decided to get back into the game, since I actually really did wanted to succeed working from home and I really hated my job. So I joined in another business and this time it was actually a little different, it wasn’t because I had a good upline, it was because I met my uncle who was a insurance agent. And I asked him, how do you keep getting all these new people to sell insurance to? And finally I learn something useful, this is what he said “all you have to do is get people to call you.”
What I means is instead of calling people, and doing all these hardcore work and advertising. I just needed to find ways how I can get people to call me, that’s it. I mean it sounds pretty hard, but of course nothing is ever easy if you are expecting something good in return. So I did what I was best at and that is direct marketing, I actually used to work at a direct marketing firm. So I just pretty much thought of every way there is that I can get people to see my ads and call me. This is of course where thinking came into play, and being creative. This is what I did.

1. Putting up poster at your local store…Here’s what I did I made some poster on my computer using Microsoft word, short, simple and to the point. The poster size I made was about 17”x22”, I made a few that was 8.5”x11” and that is a regular size printing paper. The 17”x22” poster, I actually made 2 poster and just tape them together side by side to get a 17”x22” size poster. In my opinion and I’m sure everyone would agree also is that a bigger poster works better, because it’s more visible and eye catching. Once the poster was made I created a homemade business card holder out of paper and glue and staple it to the bottom right corner of the poster. The reason so is because even if people see your poster most likely they are not going to remember your website address or your phone number. But if you have a business card so people can actually take it, it’s more effective, since they will have your business card, your website on it and your phone number. If they choose to contact you for more information, which they usually do if they are interested. Once the poster is made and my business card is on the poster, I just took it to restaurants, stores, local family owned business such as clothing, food, and laundry mat. Usually these are store that I normally go to, and the owner or manager there already knows me, because I’m a usual customer that always go there. A few store wasn’t of course they were just random store that I picked. Once I have the places that I want to put my poster up at. I just go in and ask the owner or manger if I can put a poster by the wall of the entrance by the door. And of course they usually said “YES I CAN” I haven’t never really got turn down by anyone yet except for 1 store. And that’s 1 NO out of 7 stores. So which means I have 6 posters up and running for people to see my business. I usually put about 40 business cards on one poster, and as I mention those are stores and business I usually go to. So whenever I see that I’m running low on business cards on that poster I just add more to it. For my poster I normally wait for 2 months and then if it has not been taken down yet, then I would just usually take it down myself. And of course by then I would already made some sales and got some people into my team for my business. The total amount of money which cost me was $30 only, mainly because of the business cards of course, but the posters alone only cost me $5. You see what I mean it’s cheap, affordable but works. The price I paid for the advertisement wasn’t bad and I made some sales and sponsor some people into my business just from those posters. It’s not a lot of calls but in the business I am involve in, I just needed 3 personal recruits to create a successful business. Now the most effective ways to do this is to make sure your poster is visible for people right when they enter the door or is leaving. Because what does everyone tend do when they enter a door they usually look straight ahead, so if you have your poster straight in front of them by the entrance. Mostly likely they are going to see it and read it or look at it.

So I did what I was best at and that is direct marketing, I actually used to work at a direct marketing firm. So I just pretty much thought of every way there is that I can get people to see my ads and call me. This is of course where thinking came into play, and being creative. This is what I did.
METHOD 1
1. Putting up poster at your local store…Here’s what I did I made some poster on my computer using Microsoft word, short, simple and to the point. The poster size I made was about 17”x22”, I made a few that was 8.5”x11” and that is a regular size printing paper. The 17”x22” poster, I actually made 2 poster and just tape them together side by side to get a 17”x22” size poster. In my opinion and I’m sure everyone would agree also is that a bigger poster works better, because it’s more visible and eye catching. Once the poster was made I created a homemade business card holder out of paper and glue and staple it to the bottom right corner of the poster. The reason so is because even if people see your poster most likely they are not going to remember your website address or your phone number. But if you have a business card so people can actually take it, it’s more effective, since they will have your business card, your website on it and your phone number. If they choose to contact you for more information, which they usually do if they are interested. Once the poster is made and my business card is on the poster, I just took it to restaurants, stores, local family owned business such as clothing, food, and laundry mat. Usually these are store that I normally go to, and the owner or manager there already knows me, because I’m a usual customer that always go there. A few store wasn’t of course they were just random store that I picked. Once I have the places that I want to put my poster up at. I just go in and ask the owner or manger if I can put a poster by the wall of the entrance by the door. And of course they usually said “YES I CAN” I haven’t never really got turn down by anyone yet except for 1 store. And that’s 1 NO out of 7 stores. So which means I have 6 posters up and running for people to see my business. I usually put about 40 business cards on one poster, and as I mention those are stores and business I usually go to. So whenever I see that I’m running low on business cards on that poster I just add more to it. For my poster I normally wait for 2 months and then if it has not been taken down yet, then I would just usually take it down myself. And of course by then I would already made some sales and got some people into my team for my business. The total amount of money which cost me was $30 only, mainly because of the business cards of course, but the posters alone only cost me $5. You see what I mean it’s cheap, affordable but works. The price I paid for the advertisement wasn’t bad and I made some sales and sponsor some people into my business just from those posters. It’s not a lot of calls but in the business I am involve in, I just needed 3 personal recruits to create a successful business. Now the most effective ways to do this is to make sure your poster is visible for people right when they enter the door or is leaving. Because what does everyone tend do when they enter a door they usually look straight ahead, so if you have your poster straight in front of them by the entrance. Mostly likely they are going to see it and read it or look at it.

METHOD 2
2. Walking advertisement…Now with the walking advertisement, I was actually surprise by this when I was told about this advertisement by a friend of mine. It mainly surprise me to see that it actually work. I remember going to the grocery store waiting in line to ring up my food, and had someone behind me reading my shirt. And asked me to see if it’s actually a real site and business or just a design for the shirt. And of course I told him it’s a real business and site. And that’s where the conversion begin and I started telling him about my business and how it works, and gave him a business card. Which I asked him to go check out my website and if he had anymore questions he can contact me. That’s it, pretty simple and easy to do but works. After a while it became one of my favorite shirt. Because It was like someone was paying me just to wear it. And it is, because I was getting traffic and recruits into my business just for wearing it. I mean I’m sure you notice how every time someone has a shirt on with some writing on it, you tend to look at it and read it. That’s the same thing that would happen, people would read your shirt just out of curiosity. The shirt only cost $20.

That’s all I did with the walking advertisement, and it worked pretty well for me. Got people to notice my business and asked me how it works and call me.
METHOD 3
3. WORD OF MOUTH…Now my last method and I believe which is also my most effective method of all. It’s free but really effective, word of mouth advertising. Now I don’t want you to get the wrong idea, that I go out there and talk to hundreds or even 20 - 50 people a day. Because I don’t, I only talk to people whenever I’m waiting in line at the store, pumping gas to my car, waiting for my food at the restaurant. I’ll said the average amount of people I talk to a day is about 1 - 10 people only. Depending on what I’m doing that day, you see the more I go out and the more people I see. Then the more people I talk to, for example if I’m only going to the gas station that day, then I would only talk to about 1 - 4 people that day. If I’m going out shopping for food and going to the restaurant, running to rent some movies then I would average about 1 - 10 people that day. So it all really comes down to how much of my time am I out running errands or out doing stuff. Some day if I’m lazy and don’t feel like talking to people then of course it would be 0 people that day. But the average amount of people I would talk to a week is about 5 - 15 people a week, so that’s about 1 - 4 people a day 6 days a week average. It’s not that much work or hard to do. Remember this is your business now and no one is going to grow it for you except yourself, so it would require some of your time and effort to grow it just like any other business out there.
This is exactly what I would usually said to people I meet:
Hi, so how’s it going today -response, “I‘m doing good, great, nice, not bad”- that’s good, umm you mind if I ask you a quick question -response, “umm sure, go ahead, ok, yea, what is it”- ok well I’m actually with this program that help save it’s member 25% on anything you pay for, just for being a member. And how it works is that when you become a member you will actually have access to purchase a customer loyalty card, which of course would cost you $225 for, but the good thing about it is that the card would actually be loaded with $300. So that’s a $75 in saving, which would also be a 25% saving on anything you pay for. And the card can be used for anything, such as paying for bills, paying for gas, food, cloths anything and anywhere that credit or debit is accepted. But the best part also about it is that you can also tell people about it, how you are saving money and create a residual income doing it. So would this be something you might be interested in or want know more about? -response “sure, ok, yea, wait so how does it work again, no thank you, I’m not into that home business stuff, it’s ok I’ll pass”
And if they said yes then I’ll give them a business card or a brochure. And tell them to visit the website and if they have more questions they can contact me for more information. Or if they are still asking me question about it, then I would just keep answering it. Once I’m done I’ll just said well thank you for your time and have a good day, and walk away.
If they said no, I’ll just said well thank you for your time and you have a good day, and walk away. That’s it! Pretty simple…
I know most of you are probably thinking hmmm… That’s it, I already know how to do that or what I thought you were going to show me something cool, something that I have never seem before, some kind of magic. Well nope, that’s all what I did and it helped me, I mean I wasn’t getting a lot of sales or recruits. But I was building my business up, generating leads from people I didn’t know or have to cold call. And it was actually really affordable for someone like me, who was just starting out and didn’t have much money. And didn’t want to take the risk again in losing $300 advertising online. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not said advertising online is bad. But if you don’t know what you’re doing online or have a really successful mentor who knows what they’re doing advertising online. Then your best bet would be to use the method I just show you. To generate leads while you learn how to create success online. This way while you are learning and educating yourself, you can also build your business. Without risking so much money. I mean now today some of my advertising are done online now, and they’re doing ok. But I’ll leave online advertising for some other time, what I’m just saying is if you’re new. Then these would probably be your best trump cards, since it’s easy to do and affordable and you can’t really go wrong. Marketing isn’t just something you can learn overnight, it’ll actually take time for you to familiar yourself with it. And become a pro at doing it. This is probably one of the biggest reason why people fail from home based business. They want jump into it so fast that they end up losing more money then they can afford and end up with nothing in return. Don’t make that mistake, take it one step at a time, be patience, and you will succeed.
Now to the most important part in building success from home. TEAMWORK AND TEAM BUILDING, if you want to be successful you need to help your team members and business partner succeed. You can’t just think of them as downlines, NO, you have to think of them as business partner because they are. And help them achieve what they want, by doing this they are also going to help you get to where you want to be at. As I have mention earlier in this article I have been involve in so many business and worked with so many type of people. There are some really good team members and mentors, while there are also bad ones as well. Some who only care about their success and how much they make. They forgot that it’s their team members who’s going to help them build their business up as well as you helping them out. And this isn’t the type of people you want to be, I’m not saying you have to do everything for your team members. But if they truly wants to learn and need help starting out to succeed. Then help them, teach them what you know and what you do, so that they too can duplicate that success onto their team. Which will also make your team grow faster and bigger in just a short amount of time. Duplication is probably what makes a successful person successful, from a person who isn’t. Because they know the power of duplication and that’s what MLM and network marketing is all about. Teaching other’s what you know, so they can do the same.
For example, Isn’t it easier for you to sponsor 3-5 people and teach them to do the same. Instead of you going out there trying to sponsor hundreds of people by yourself. This is what’s going to make you a true leader in your field and someone, people would want to work with, because they know if they are with you. They will see success and follow you into any business you go into. And that’s the ultimate success!
Ok… Now you’re done reading, so think to yourself, seriously think to yourself, is this something you think you can do and want to do. I mean wouldn’t you rather go out there for 6 months to a year and give it everything you got. With the possibility knowing that you can retire within that period of time. Isn’t it worth it? To me I think it is and it’s actually really doable, so don’t 1 second ever doubt yourself or think it’s impossible. Because at the end of the day when you accomplish all this, you can look yourself in the mirror and know that you are providing not just yourself. But your family as well a better life. And you can finally pat yourself on the back and said HELL YEAHHHHHH!!!! I DID IT!!!!
